Everyone has an opinion! I first started learning this fact when I was pregnant with our one and only son, four year old Lloyd.
Back then, it was oh! you're getting big awfully quickly! or it's a girl, I can just tell by the way you're carrying... yeah, right.
Now, it's comments from well meaning people who say now is not the time to buy over there (it isn't) and now is not the time to sell here (it isn't)... is it really true? Do we wait? Then, I lay awake and wonder well, when is going to be the right time? Huh?
Does anyone have an opinion about that? Can someone just tell us exactly what we're supposed to do and when? Please? Make this all a lot easier!

Well, you know what I am going to say, pray, pray ,pray! You both will know what is right for your family. Not for anyone else's... I am praying for you and trying hard to be happy about it!
I think some things in life are tough and these things are sent to try us. But you will have support with any decision you make, making such a huge chance is difficult. If you have to come here and rent a cute wee place whilst you settle in then so be it - you can buy when you are ready. People have different opinions and it can be good to listen to them to get other out looks on a situation, where ever you are it'll be home - we know that from living in splendour in Antigua! I'm here to help so don't hesitate to call me.

Okay, this is take 2. Just know that we are totally and completely behind you all. You can only do what is right for you, you never know....we love you all.
Definately pray! Only God knows the right timing, which is HIS timing, regardless of the housing market, what you want, or what anyone else wants, for that matter! I will pray that He will open or close doors so that you have some leading.

In my opinion..When you know in your heart of hearts that this decision is the right one for you, Greg and Lloyd at this time in your lives, then timing of when it happens will not be an issue. You've done so much research .. schools, housing, jobs, and just on the tranquil lifestyle over there. I hear the happiness in your voice when you speak of what awaits you there. Should you step foot off that plane and get an overwhelming feeling of dismay...then turn around and come back...figuratively and literally...
You've got wonderful family and friends here whose bonds will only grow stronger and stronger no matter the distance...
We will miss you all immensely...especially Jay will miss his little buddy Lloyd...but know that our home is open to you whenever you wish...(visits should be made a prerequisite of this contract :) )
Of course praying is always key but I get so frustrated sometimes when I don't get a clear, loud, distinctive answer from Him when I think I'm listening. LOL
Anyway, it may sound trite but I believe that this will work out the way it's supposed to. You have to do what's best for you and your family and you'll know what that is when it's time. Buy/Sell/Sell/Buy - everyone will offer their opinion, position, advice, etc. Take the information that helpful and let go of the rest.

As others have stated, you need to pray, pray, pray and the God of all wisdom will bountifully supply. He will tell you when you should go and all the concerns and worries that you have will be cared for by Him. Also, you know that you must follow the lead of your husband. When you do go, we will miss you and the rest of your team above and beyond what you know. Our prayers are with you and for you daily.
